SING. DANCE. ACT. CREATE.
Based at Stanley Arts, South East London
At Cherry Stars Stage and Screen School, students don’t just learn performing arts. They create, perform and produce.
From their very first classes, students experience both stage and screen, building skills in acting, singing and dance while working towards exciting creative projects throughout the year.
That might mean rehearsing a full-scale theatrical production, shooting a mini movie using green screen, creating a music video or developing scenes for camera.
It’s ambitious, professional-style creative training, carefully adapted for every age and stage, giving young performers the chance to build confidence, develop their creativity and deepen their love of the arts.

Their first experience of stage and screen.
Cherry Stars introduces our youngest performers to acting, singing and dance through lively, imaginative sessions that get them creating and performing from the very beginning.
But this is more than a weekly performing arts class. Our youngest students become part of the creative process too, performing for an audience and working on camera in specially created projects, from mini movies and music videos to green-screen filming.
Everything is carefully adapted for their age, allowing children to experience the excitement of creating something together while developing confidence, imagination, communication and a genuine love of performing.

Each year, students work towards a full-scale theatrical production, taking on principal and featured roles while experiencing the rehearsal process involved in bringing a major show to the stage.
Alongside their theatre work, they develop their screen skills through professionally styled projects including short films, music videos and performance for camera.
Working with specialist teachers, students develop their technique, versatility, confidence and professionalism across both stage and screen.
Whether they simply love performing or are beginning to consider professional training and the industry, Rising Stars gives young performers the space to stretch themselves, take creative risks and develop their individual strengths.
Includes a screen project, staged theatrical production, screen acting with professional film equipment and talent agency opportunities. Sibling discount: 25% off.
